General Surgery

Our community General Surgery Service provides specialist care for patients requiring routine outpatient appointments. Our team consists of consultants with a range of sub-specialties including upper GI and colorectal.

 

Our Consultants are able to see and treat a range of conditions and offer specialist in clinic investigations such as rigid sigmoidoscopy and proctoscopy. Where patients require more complex investigations or procedures we facilitate direct referral pathways to secondary hospital based care. We work closely with our referral network in order to facilitate continuity of care and a short waiting time for surgical procedures.
